Serena Romero is a distinguished communications and marketing professional with a deep background in storytelling, journalism and media. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of San Diego and a Master of Arts from Syracuse University. As an Emmy Award-winning Producer, she has held leadership roles across multiple industries, including technology startups, nonprofits, retail, medical, and environmental sectors. She is also a Founding Board Member of the ED23 Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering underprivileged youth.
Currently, Serena serves as the Director of Marketing and Communications for Indigenized Energy, where she leverages her expertise in media and storytelling to amplify the organization’s impact. Her work focuses on sharing powerful narratives, strengthening brand presence, and securing critical funding to advance energy sovereignty initiatives in Indian Country.
